Tasks of Quality Production Control Directorate

• Issuing standards concerning quality systems and quality guides related to this field (quality management systems environmental management systems hygiene systems and occupational safety etc.)
• Supervising the task of the authorized parties to qualify and train on quality systems. Now they became 18 party in number.
• Supervising the task of authorized parties to grant quality systems certificates and accompany them in assessment procedures for the renewal of authorization to grant quality certificates in all scopes.
• Control on exports to the countries which have mutual recognition agreements on conformity certificate with Syria. These are presently (Lebanon Iraq Saudi Arabia etc.).
• Granting conformity marks to factories and institutions whose products conform to the Syrian national standards, now they became three institutions.
